Fall wreath

Fall is here, so I made myself a new wreath for our front door. 

And while I was gathering wreath supplies, I put together a simple fall centerpiece for my dining room table too. 

Hulk School Supplies

Caden loves Hulk...in case you can't tell by his school supplies.

Water bottles: I found the straw one later and thought it would be better for school, so we have a backup one now as well :)

Wedding frame gift

I had another fun wedding gift to make: 

I also put vinyl on this roadside sign for them, so fun! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to see it in person. 

Sparkler Bucket

I found this cute blue, metal bucket and thought it would be perfect to collect our hot sparklers.

2016 Graduation Gifts

I had two graduation gifts to make this year, both to awesome girls that are college bound.  (I'm super excited for them!) So I had fun putting names and college logos on various items for them to take to college.

Last day of school Teacher Gift 2016

My kids helped me paint canvases for a final thank you their teachers.

Captain America Party

Although birthday parties are a lot of work, it is fun putting all this fun stuff together. Then watching my kids and their party guests smiling and laughing makes it all worth while. We were lucky enough to have good weather and held his party at a park. This party was for my 6 year old, who currently loves Captain America.

Party Shirt:

I started off making a Captan America shirt for the birthday boy. 

Party Masks:  

I used heat and bond on felt and cut using my silhouette. Then I pressed them together and stitched all the edges. 

Frisbee Shields:

I found some full sized red frisbees at Walmart. I removed the painted design and added blue and white vinyl to make the shield. 

Refreshments: 

I served pizza, strawberries and red and blue Koolaids (and of course cupcakes) but also did some personalized water bottles for each party guest. 

Games: 

One game was to use water guns and shoot each other, using the frisbees to defend ourselves. 

Another game was to knock the bad guys using the Captan America Shields. 

End of Party Favors:

So the party guests got to take home a frisbee, mask, and personalized water bottle, but I also put together one more little goodie bag. 

Cake: 

I forgot to get a picture of the cupcakes, but they were all red, white and blue. We also had a cake later with our family, this one a Captain America shield using white frosting and red and blue sugar sheets.
