Personalized Treat Plates
We made holiday treats to deliver to friends and neighbors, but first I personalized the plates using glass etching. And in the process, I made one for me, too :)

Rudolph Suckers
My kindergartener wanted to make something for all of his classmates for Christmas. So we looked on Pinterest for ideas and really liked this one. His classmates loved them. Then my second grader wanted some for his class, so we made some for his class, too. One more way to teach my kids the joy of giving and thinking of others.

**I found this cute idea and cut file from Sarah Hamer Designs We changed the eyes to wiggly eyes and sized it down to cut on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of cardstock and added a mouth and eyebrows just for fun.

Christmas Teacher Gifts
Christmas gifts for teachers this year. I personalized a small cutting board and let the kids pick an apple from the Chocolate Factory. I bagged the apples in a colored red and green bags then placed it on the cutting board and cellophaned it together. I let the kids decorate their own tag and address it to their teachers.

Teacher Gifts
This year for the teacher gifts, we gave these tins labeled "For Your Mistle'toes'"
Inside the kids put some Christmas socks, lotion and nail polish. I let the kids pick out the paper and help decorate the cans. Nathan chose to color his own paper, which was super cute.

Merry Christmas from Your Peeps Gifts
I saw this cute idea on Pinterest just in time to make it for my Mia Maid girls:

(It would also be cute for VT) The idea comes from Bloom Designs. You can get personalized tags from her....I just made my own using her basic design 'cause I wanted to hurry and get them done and delivered :)
So I've never tried this, but I saved my file as a jpeg so it could be printed from my blog. (so if you try to print it before I do, you'll have to let me know if it works) I got 4 tags on an 8x10 and printed on cardstock:

I have the best advisor!! I showed her the idea and she did all the shopping for me, so it was super easy!! (Thanks, Nicole!)

Covered Notebooks
I've started making a few Christmas presents for my kiddos...so I thought I'd start sharing them:
Kyla LOVES to draw and is always wants paper and something to draw with...so when Walgreens had the little spiral notebooks for 19 cents, I grabbed a bunch for Kyla. Then I grabbed some scrapbook paper and covered the fronts of them:
Now they are put away for Christmas.

Adding some Christmas Trim
I put this together for a gift exchange I had last weekend....We shared some of our homemade syrups and threw in some pancake mix.
But to give the gift a little more Christmas cheer, I used some modge-podge to add some Christmas paper to the lids of the jars. I was careful to keep the modge-podge on the lid and not on the jar. It added a lot to the look of the gift and was really quite easy and quick...I just had to wait for it to dry.
