Halloween Shadow Box

This is hard to get a great picture, but it is a shadow box with the vinyl on the outside glass, so the bats cast shadows on the moon.

Activity Days: The Prophets Message to Us

This month we reviewed the latest conference address given by President Monson.  We read and talked about his message and discussed how we could apply his counsel to our lives.  They filled out a little card of what they would do to follow the prophet and stuck their card on these little photo blocks I had made for them to take home:

Temple Wedding Gift

I made this for a wedding gift.  This picture does not do this picture justice.  I used a floating frame and added vinyl to the inner, back layer of glass.

Car Map Shirt

John's car map shirt we made him a few years ago was completely faded, so we made a new one.  I went back to The Blue Basket and used the same map.  Then I made a few minor changes (like the added temple--something needed in Sharpville).  This time I used HTV for the map and (with a little help) my kids colored it with a set of fabric markers.

And we added #1 Dad to the front.  I used a font that could be colored in.

4th of July Shelf Decor

This shelf was Pinterest inspired, see the original at Landeelu.  I love how it turned out!  I used 2 canvases--one on each end.  The American silhouette was cut out of fabric and mounted on fabric and framed in an old picture frame I spray painted white.  The tallest board is made of wood and has a wooden star covered in silver glitter.  I love the varieties of texture, now I need to make a set for every holiday!

End of the year teacher "Thank You"s

I gave each of the teachers and the school secretary a jar personalized with their name.  I let my kids pick what to put in them. I also had each of my kids write a final thank you to their teachers.

Graduation Gifts

I had three awesome seniors to make gifts for.  Two college bound: both to BYU-Idaho.  I made them a bucket to get them excited about their future:

 So close up look:  Buckets
 Notebooks:
 Stone Soup Mugs:
Mini Buckets, I added highlighters and pens to:
 And a tumbler:

I also had one that will be working for now and later attending beauty school.  I kept hers more generic, but still personal with her name.  I added some hair styling supplies instead of school supplies.

Large Bucket:
 Soup mug:
Small bucket (with nail file and more bobby pins)
 And a tumbler:
