A little crinkly toy. The inside is a plastic wrapper (securely stitched) so it makes lots of crinkly noise and the ribbons will also keep him busy.

Baby Washclothes

I wanted some new baby washclothes, mine were really worn out. It's all in My Head! had this great idea to make your own. So I went to JoAnne's and spent just over $3 to make a basketful of washclothes. I used the higher quality of terrycloth and some cute flannel that would match my bathroom.

They are nice and soft for our new baby and look cute sitting in their basket on the counter.

My New Diaper Bag!

I finally got this done! I found the tutorial for this "Hip" Diaper bag on A Mingled Yarn and put it on my list of things I want to do. I loved the look of it, found some fabric I liked and loved that I could customize the pockets how I wanted. Whew....it took me several afternoons working on it, but I was pretty proud when my husband looked at the finished product and said "You made that? I'm impressed!" :)

Pockets are all around the outside: 2 in front, 1 on each side and a large zipper pocket in the back

The inside has lots of pockets, too!

More Burp Cloths

Baby Bath Towel

I love these hooded towels for my kids (Thanks for getting me hooked Jessica) so of course I needed to make one for our upcoming baby.... One more thing ready for the little guy!

Redone Basket for the Baby

I found this basket at the D.I. for $1.

I replaced the ribbon... And now it is perfect to put on the baby dresser to hold the burp clothes I've been making :)

Now I need to get the dresser ready...

Blanket and Burp Clothes

I made these for our upcoming baby (yeah...we haven't agreed on a name yet :) ) They match the car seat cover, not that it mattered to have them match.

Car Seat Cover

I've been wanting to make one of these for our upcoming baby...so I bought some flannel that I liked and found this tutorial on Make it Do just in time to make it a breeze to make.

It even has curved corners, so it won't drag on the ground :) My favorite part it that it has straps to hold it onto the car seat and holds it off the baby's face.

So I readjusted the car seat straps, put on the cover and one more baby thing is ready!!
