Bandana Bibs
So I actually wanted these for my older kids mainly for spaghetti nights, but I'm sure there will be other times when they will be handy. My kids like the look of them.

Sweet Meet and Greet
Kyla was SO excited to be starting school and wanted to bring her some "mail"...she LOVES mail...so we whipped up this little treat for her teacher....
I made a wrapper for a chocolate bar and let Kyla write the word "sweet". I know it could have turned out a lot cuter, but I was out of colored ink, but couldn't justify running all of my kids to the store to fix it last minute...so we just made it work with some markers and colored pencils.
Kyla was thrilled...so that's really what mattered. It was perfect for her meeting her teacher last week...she couldn't wait to go back and start school today!

A Little more Organized...
I found this spice rack at a yard sale...$2. So I cleaned it up...and organized my eyelets that have needed some serious organization. (I seriously considered putting my buttons in these) I still need another spice rack to two....maybe I'll make it out to a few more yard sales this year....I need some serious organization in my craft room!!
I love that it spins and I can set it up on a shelf for storage and quickly pull it down and work with it on my table.

Marble Travel Games
It's always nice to have a little something to pull out of my diaper bag to keep my kids busy, so I whipped up a set of these today. My picture is lacking to say the least...check out the tutorial and pictures on Serving Pink Lemonade!

Holes in Her Jeans
Kyla's had a pair of Jeans with holes in the knees (ok most kids have this problem...) I was trying to figure out how to patch them because the width of the legging would not fit around the base of my sewing machine to secure a patch.
So when I saw this idea to hand stitch them on using cute embroidery thread, I decided to get them patched. I used a flower design and used wonder under to secure them in place. Then I did some quick handstitching.
I think they turned out cute...no..."Pretty". This girl wants to be "pretty" not "cute" and always reminds me.

Baby Washclothes
I wanted some new baby washclothes, mine were really worn out. It's all in My Head! had this great idea to make your own. So I went to JoAnne's and spent just over $3 to make a basketful of washclothes. I used the higher quality of terrycloth and some cute flannel that would match my bathroom.
They are nice and soft for our new baby and look cute sitting in their basket on the counter.
