Baby Washclothes

I wanted some new baby washclothes, mine were really worn out. It's all in My Head! had this great idea to make your own. So I went to JoAnne's and spent just over $3 to make a basketful of washclothes. I used the higher quality of terrycloth and some cute flannel that would match my bathroom.
They are nice and soft for our new baby and look cute sitting in their basket on the counter.

More Boy PJs

I also finished making Nathan's Summer PJs. I had two shirts left and two 50% off coupons, so I took Nathan to the store and pick to NON-CAR fabrics...he's excited about these now, too!

Girl Curtains

Another project that was way overdue was the curtains in Kyla's room. I bought the fabric back in November!! I totally love how they turned out and I lined them with blackout fabric, so they block out a lot of light....totally going to be awesome with the sun staying out past bedtime now :)

That's a fun shelf up there I get to put some fun stuff on...

Girl's Rag Quilt

I saw a super cute rag quilt at a craft show last October and wanted one for Kyla's room, but they were for babies and I needed a twin size, plus I would have tried to make my own anyway, right? So I looked and looked for fabric....and finally in January found exactly what I wanted. Then I scribbled out a pattern of a bunch of scrap papers. I started putting the blocks together right away (back in January)....then I set it aside and finally got my act together this past weekend and finished it! I totally love how it turned out!!!

Here's a little closer shot of the squares:

My New Diaper Bag!

I finally got this done! I found the tutorial for this "Hip" Diaper bag on A Mingled Yarn and put it on my list of things I want to do. I loved the look of it, found some fabric I liked and loved that I could customize the pockets how I wanted. Whew....it took me several afternoons working on it, but I was pretty proud when my husband looked at the finished product and said "You made that? I'm impressed!" :)

So here are a few pictures:

Pockets are all around the outside: 2 in front, 1 on each side and a large zipper pocket in the back

The inside has lots of pockets, too!

I am excited to use my new bag....:)
