Matching Hair Accessories

I made this matching headband (pattern from Foofanangle)

Then, the day before I made the skirt, I came across this cute idea for a flower on LollyChops...so I made one into a hairclip to clip onto the headband...it was actually really easy to make, too!
So together:
Super cute!

Split Twirl Skirt

As soon as I saw this tutorial on Crap I've Made, I knew I had to make one for Kyla! Her tutorial and worksheet made this super easy! Mine turned out a little big, but I didn't mind that. This is the first one I made:

He Loves Me...

My awesome husband hung some peg board (we got a bunch at a yard sale last summer for 25 cents a sheet!!) above my sewing table....now I can hang things up and clear off my table...it is awesome!!! I thought about painting it, but they grey matches the cement floor :) So someday when I have a finished craft area, I might paint it, but for now I love it as is! Now I should also be able to sew lots more projects, right?

Easter Buckets

This year I made the kids Easter buckets. They had fun picking out Easter paper from the store. I used buckets from Walmart (only 50 cents each!!) With a little modge podge and ribbon, these were easy and fun to make...and the kids were super excited!

Carrot Goodie Bags

As soon as I saw these on Sisters' Stuff, I knew I wanted to make them for the kids' Easter baskets...
The first one is mini goldfish (my kids totally love those!) and the second one has Cheetos (a rare snack around here)
These will be great to fill up the Easter baskets with less sugar :)

My one April Fool's Prank

I didn't do much for April Fool's Day this year...but I did do this one little thing to John. I just stashed this under the driver side wiper blade:

It worked out perfectly since he started parking in a new spot this week. It actually panicked one of his co-workers first :)

I folded it like a card and wrote a message on the inside to tell him April Fools! It was fun and super easy.

I found this cute idea on Love, Actually.
