Easter Pillowcase

I found this cute fabric at Hancock Fabrics and hurried to make this year's new Easter pillowcase.... At least they can enjoy it for a few days...I can't believe how fast Easter snuck up on me! I've got to get my other Easter projects done!!!

Outlet Covers for the Boys' Room

John was awesome and put in tamper outlets in the boys' room. I had fun making the cover plates using modge podge and fabric to match their room!

Lucky Lunchbox Day 3

It's St. Patrick's Day!!

Today's little treat was a bowl of Lucky Charms...my kids got Lucky Charms for breakfast today, too. Kyla loved that it had RAINBOWs! She sure loves rainbows! Anyway...it was way simple, but here was John's Lucky Lunchbox item (he often eats his breakfast on his first break, so cereal totally works for his lunchbox!)

Lucky Lunchbox Day 2

For John's Lunchbox today:

"Tis better far at the rainbows end, to find not gold, but YOU as my husband!"

Attatched to a bowl of rainbow jello.

Lucky Lunchbox Day 1

I found some cute St. Patrick's Day treat ideas on It's all in My Head...so this will be a fun week to leave some treats in my husband's lunch again :)

So....day 1:

"If I had a Pot of Gold, I'd want to share it with you. I couldn't find one anywhere, so I hope that this will do!"

Perfect since I came across these PB twix the other day...which is John's absolute favorite candybar...and it can be very hard to find!!!

Crowning a Prince....

You had to know this was coming after yesterday's post, right?
They both love to dress up, so I got some cute pictures of them playing together.

Did I mention how hard it is to take a picture of this active kid sometimes???

Crowning a Princess...

I've been meaning to make these for the kids...they LOVE dress-up! I finally got going on it and found them to be so simple! I got the pattern and directions on Balancing Everything.

I used felt that I had....and let Kyla pick the colors and trim, so of course it had to be pink, purple, and green!

She loves it!!
