Binki Bag

I created a pattern for this using the Dipes and Wipes pattern and just sizing it way down. It is a pouch to hold the binki so that it stays clean. I think next time I will try to add a velcro handle to make it easy to fasten to the handle of the car seat, diaper bag strap, purse, etc.

Baby Bib

I just traced the shape of a bib I had, cut one with John Deere fabric, one with greeen for the backing and cut one with batting for the center.

It turned out ok, but I think I like the towel bibs a lot better.

Baby Bath Towel

So they're not just for baby....All 3 of my kids have one and love them. Jessica gave me one for a baby gift with Caden. She's so awesome, she told me how to make them, so my other kids each got one. I will never use those thin store bought ones again! This one is for a baby gift...my first one to give away.



You need:
1 large bath towel
1 hand towel cut in half (so pick up another large towel so you can make 2!)
3 yards of ribbon

Sew ribbon trim on towels. Fold the edge of the hand towel over and stitch. Stitch raw edges of hand towel together. Attatch to the top center of the large towel. Yep, it's that easy.

Small Victory

YEAH!! ALL of my basement is finally vacuumed! I have 3 small boxes left to unpack, but they can wait until summer and a few more boxes of canned goods I need to build some shelves for to unpack, but I'm pretty much done cleaning down there until summer. Now I need to work on all my landscaping...sigh. But, I am hoping to be able to start doing more projects in my cleaned craft space...and post them on my blog :) So...how long do you think it will take to have my electrician husband put in some outlets and lights for me?
