Tell him: Udaman

I love when people put cute printables on their blogs that I can use for quick, super cute creations! I thought this was perfect for my hubby for Valentine's day...perfect for the lunchbox! He'll be nice enough to share right? I bought the large size symphony bar....

Teacher Valentine's

Here's what we did for the Teacher Valentine's: I let Kyla pick the paper and help me put them together. The background is a bunch of rainbow colored hearts. It's hard to see that in the picture. I used small heart brads to attach the treat.

Love Notes

I love putting random notes in John's lunchbox. Since Valentine's Day is fast approaching I made some love notes using some conversation hearts to put in his lunches this week.
Fun. Simple. and the hearts add some Valentine's flair.

Her Valentines

Kyla wanted to make her Valentine's. I showed her different options on the web and this is what she chose to do:

She had a blast making them. I printed the backs and traced a heart cookie cutter I had. She did all the cutting of the hearts. I love looking at her artwork. She made each Valentine 'special' for each kid in her class.

Twin Size Blanket

During the Holiday Season my Grandma (Thanks Grandma!!) made this quilt for Kyla. She does an awesome job and I love having quilts made by her...so I finally got my act together and got some fabric to match Kyla's room. I really like how it turned out! I'm hoping to make some more twin size quilts for the boys, so I jotted some quick notes down on how much fabric I would need...
3/4 yard for binding (green)
5 yards for front (this is the flower print)
1 flat sheet for back
1/2 inch polyester batting-twin size

Standard twin size is 72x90 but you can make the sides shorter than the 72 inches to hang less over the bed. I went with the 72 inches
